Deepwater Response to Underwater Pipeline Emergencies

DW-RUPE (Deepwater Response to Underwater Pipeline Emergencies) is a joint industry study focused on deepwater pipeline repairs. Stress Subsea is both project manager and engineer on the project. There are nine members in all, including eight operating companies and the MMS.

Pipeline Connector

Extreme High Pressure High Temperature

XHPHT (Extreme High Pressure High Temperature) reservoirs continue to push subsea equipment and pipeline technology beyond current capabilities. Having assumed the roles of technical consultant and interface manager, Stress Subsea has been actively involved in the development of new technologies to effectively manage these reservoirs.

High Integrity Pressure Protection System

HIPPS (High Integrity Pressure Protection System) is a new technology to the Gulf of Mexico and Stress Subsea is committed to facilitating its use in this region. Installation will require both technology development and interface coordination with regulatory authorities. In addition, we continue to be actively involved in the development of recommended practices by the API 170 committee.
