Senior Marine Pipeline Engineer
Job Division / Location:
Stress Subsea, Inc., Houston, TX.
General Requirements:  
Candidate should be degreed engineer (BS or greater) with 10+ years experience with the design and installation of offshore pipelines and flowlines. P.E. Registration is preferred. Experience should include both shallow water and deep water pipelines and flowlines for Gulf of Mexico.
Design Requirements:
Candidate should be fully knowledgeable with pipe design codes from DnV, ASME, API, as well as US Government Rules (CFR’s). Candidate should also have experience with pipeline design engineering activities, including: pipeline and flowline mechanical design; line sizing; flow assurance; pipeline coatings; insulation systems; cathodic protection design; span analysis, diver assisted and diverless connection systems; drawing review, including alignment sheets; subsea architecture - subsea layouts and routing; permitting. Experience should also include wet insulation and pipe-in-pipe systems.
Installation Design Experience:
Installation engineering experience should include S-Lay, J-Lay, and Reel Lay, including the following: Knowledge of the various phases of installation, including: route survey and other field preliminary work; installation vessel mobilization; lay analysis, pull-in analysis, and abandonment analysis, including contingency measures such as emergency abandonment.

Marine Pipeline Engineer

Subsea Engineer
Job Division / Location:
Stress Subsea, Inc., Houston, TX.
General Requirements:  
Candidate should be degreed engineer (BS or greater) with 7+ years experience in the design of subsea production equipment or subsea controls. P.E. or EIT Registration is preferred. Experience should include subsea equipment design for the Gulf of Mexico or international markets.
Design Requirements:
Candidate should be fully knowledgeable of subsea design practices and appropriate API design practices. Candidate should also have experience with design of subsea hardware such as subsea trees, manifolds, or control systems. Knowledge of subsea architecture and conceptual evaluations is helpful.
Installation Design Experience:
Field installation experience is preferred. Installation engineering experience may include rig/DSV installation support of any type of subsea hardware.

Project Controls / Scheduling
Job Division / Location:
Stress Subsea, Inc., Houston, TX.
General Requirements:  
Candidate should have a college degree and 3 to 5 years direct experience in the development, implementation, and administration of project control and reporting systems. Minimum 3+ years contract oversight and administration experience is preferred. Experience should include general knowledge of project engineering and project management procedures. Experience with subsea facilities is a plus but not a requirement.
Controls and Admin Requirements:
Candidate should be familiar with and have a general knowledge of engineering design procedures and development steps from project concept selection, preliminary and detail design, through installation and startup.

Candidate should have experience with performing general project control functions such as; assistance with the development of work definition packages and WBS systems, preparation of schedules and cost estimates, collecting and analyzing project data, tracking and trending expenditures, forecasting cost and schedule deviations, developing standard reporting procedures, and preparing periodic project progress and cost expenditure reports. Candidate should also have experience with the development of tools, matrices, and formats for the efficient collection and analysis of the project data.
Other Experience:
Experience with project Document Control systems is a plus. Experience with MAXIMO, JDE or SAP is helpful.
